
Leung Oi-sze, the first Secretary for Justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, has held numerous key positions over several decades, including Vice Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of Hong Kong Basic Law Committee and Chairperson of the International Association of Women Lawyers. She has also led various charitable organizations in Hong Kong. She has been awarded seven honorary doctorates and is widely recognized as a philanthropist and leader in Hong Kong society.
Ms. Leung served as the Chairperson and Advisor of the final selection committee for the Honorary Love Award for 10 years (2013-2022), witnessing the growth and development of the award. For her outstanding contributions, she was presented with the first Honorary Love Award in this session as a mark of respect.

She is the first entrepreneur in China to treat charity as a business and operate it professionally. She served as the president of the Guangdong Lions Club for the 2007-2008 term and is the Secretary-General of the Alashan SEE Foundation. During major disasters such as the Southern Ice Storm, the Wenchuan Earthquake, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Henan Floods, she has always been at the forefront, mobilizing and coordinating resources to provide timely and effective assistance.
In 2009, she founded the Harmony Comminity Foundation, the first community foundation in China. The foundation has ranked first in the China Foundation Transparency Index for several years. Rooted in the Pearl River Delta, it focuses on community development, supporting grassroots organizations and individuals. She believes that the core of community development is people, and when everyone participates in volunteer activities, the good governance of the community can be realized.

Founder of the Shenzhen Henghui Charity Foundation. Since its establishment, the foundation has innovatively practiced public welfare, creating a social support system for vulnerable groups and promoting the value of charity within the social system. It has initiated projects in areas such as critical illness assistance, rural doctor training in traditional Chinese medicine, youth education and mental health care. In 2020, the foundation was rated as a 5A-level public welfare organization. In 2017, the "United Love Project" helped 170 children with leukemia in Heyuan City through the "Comprehensive Control Practice of Childhood Cancer." The project also supported the establishment of a pediatric hematology department at the local people's hospital. Additionally, through health technology evaluation research, it facilitated the inclusion of two clinical drugs for childhood leukemia in the national medical insurance catalog.

At 85 years old, he founded the Guangdong Public Charity Association for Orphan Assistance and Educational Promotion in 2004. With 19 years of dedication to charity, he is a highly respected leader in the philanthropic community. Every day, from 9 AM to 5 PM, he visits rural areas with a waist support and cane, accumulating over 40,000 hours of volunteer service. He has inspired over 4,500 volunteers, uniting the power of kindness, raising a total of 259 million RMB, helping 37,000 orphaned and impoverished students, and aiding 4,600 children with severe illnesses, totaling 230 million RMB in aid. He advocates for a charity model based on legality, integrity, transparency, and thrift, ensuring that every donation is effectively used, earning recognition from both the government and society. For five consecutive years, his organization has ranked first in Guangzhou's charity transparency evaluation with an A-grade, truly setting a model for charity.

The current President of the Hong Kong Buddhist Association and Abbot of Western Monastery. Tonsured under the guidance of the late Venerable Yung Seng, he is the 46th-generation lineage holder of the Tiantai school. Dedicated to expounding Buddhist teachings and benefiting all beings, he carries forward the compassionate vows of the monastery’s founder. Upholding the philosophy of "Preaching Tiantai, Practicing Pure Land," he actively promotes social welfare, charity, and cultural education. Over the years, he has donated to numerous primary and secondary schools, established temples, visited the elderly, and provided aid to disaster-stricken communities. He has been honored with the "Outstanding Contribution to Chinese Charity" award and the title of "Philanthropic Figure of China" by the China Charity Federation.

For nearly 20 years, he has led 7,000 employees worldwide in charitable efforts, upholding a humanitarian commitment to rural areas. Embracing the concept of "action-oriented philanthropy," he has brought knowledge and medical resources to those in need. Over the years, he has donated more than 100 million NTD to provide over 100 charity vehicles, including ambulances, mobile libraries, and rehabilitation buses. Each vehicle is named after an outstanding employee, spreading the seeds of kindness to families and communities. His philanthropy extends from Taiwan’s southernmost regions to educational aid in the remote northwest of Gansu, ensuring that love continues to circulate and endure.

Founded in 2002, it aims to create a safe and supportive environment for cancer patients and their families, striving to be a "navigator for life after cancer." It helps them develop four key strengths: knowledge empowerment by utilizing professional medical knowledge to boost confidence and enable active participation in medical decisions, life empowerment through diverse support and learning programs that encourage patients to take control, recovery empowerment by assisting families in adjusting physically and emotionally to life’s challenges, and participation empowerment to help patients reintegrate into society and make a positive impact. It established the Hope Station, providing comprehensive consultation services benefiting over 750,000 people, and created the Taiwan Cancer Resource Network, now the largest cancer resource platform in Taiwan.
